Banff Jasper Relay Registration Instructions
Thanks for entering a team in the Banff Jasper Relay. Your participation is what has made this great event a success every year since 2005. In 2012 the Banff Jasper Relay raised over $43,000 in donations to the Brain Tumor Society, thanks to brave folks like you who entered a team.
For this year, we are asking teams to set a goal to raise $100.00 / runner as a committment to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada (registration is NOT contingent upon meeting this committment)
REGISTRATION RESTRICTIONS:
In order to meet the requirements of Parks Canada, there is a limit of 60 teams that will be accepted into the Relay on a first come, first served basis. A team is considered officially entered when its non-refundable cheque is received and cashed. We will call you if your team does NOT make the registration cut off.
ENTRY FEES FOR 2013:
Until Midnight November 30th: $1,417.50 including GST. ($90.00 per runner plus 5% GST)
After Midnight November 30th: $1,496.25 including GST. ($95.00 per runner plus 5% GST)
NEW!! 1 Volunteer per team - please have them register at the Volunteer page noting their team name.
PAYMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
The team registration cheque should be made out with the appropriate amount (see above).
One cheque per team thank you.

A TEAM CAPTAIN IS REQUIRED:
Each team requires a Team Captain. This will be the main contact between your team and the Banff Jasper Relay Organization. The Captain will pass the race information on to the rest of the team, and get them to sign the waiver. The Captain will also send in the cheque for the team's race registration. The Captain's email will be used for all correspondence from the Banff Jasper Relay organization.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Last Minute Entries are allowed until May 15th or until 60 teams have entered. No t-shirts or event meals will be guaranteed for teams entered after April 30.
All team registration requirements including runners information and team payment must be met by May 15th.
Waivers for Runners under the age of 18 on race day: (If a runner is over 18, there is no requirement for a waiver)
Runners under the age of 18 must complete a hard copy waiver and fax it to us by May 15th. Please note that a parent or legal guardian must sign the waiver for the runner.
RACE CANCELLATION:
If the race is canceled for any reason, there will be no refunds. If possible, T-shirts will still be distributed.
