In Memory of Jim Morris

This year, the 2013 Banff Jasper Relay is being held in honor of a dear running friend - Jim Morris, who sadly passed away in January 2013 from a long battle with brain cancer. The passing of our dear friend reminds us, all the more, how important we believe it is to support the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada's mission. Click here to see our tribute to Jim.

DONATE BIG - WIN BIG!
This year we have a special prize for our BJR participants! For every $100 dollars that is donated or raised by you, 1 ticket with your name on it will be added into the draw to win the big prize. Up for grabs is a brand new, Apple iPad 4 with Retina Display and Wi-Fi! Donations can be made up to race day, June 1st, so there's lots of time to get your donations in! You could be the owner of a brand new Apple iPad. Donate to the Brain Tumour Foundation today!

PRIZE INCLUDES:
1 (ONE) Apple iPad 4 with Retini Display and Wifi
Color: White
Click here to see pictures and to learn more about the Apple iPad 4.
SAFETY VEST INFO
Please note that this year safety vests will be provided to our runners. We will be providing 4 vests to each team (2 for the South, 2 for the North). Due to forced starts, teams may feel that they need more than 4 vests. Teams are permitted to bring their own additional vests, but they MUST be CSA Approved. Vests that are CSA Approved will be clearly labelled to indicate their status. If you do not see "CSA Approved" on the product, it is simply not.

Please note that Support Members are responsible for providing their own vests. These must also be CSA Approved, of course. A small number of these will be available for sale at the Captain's Meeting, and at the Saskatchewan River Crossing for $20 dollars each.

For more information, and for some images detailing the types of vests that are recommended, visit: www.bjr.ca/csa_vest_options

NEW: CHANGES TO S2 ROUTE
Please note that this year there have been some changes to the S2 Route. Visit our Race Info page and look under "Stages and Distances" to see a list of each stage. Click on the stage to open a PDF detailing this stage.

A few of our teams have informed us that they will not be able to attend the relay this year. As a result, we have 2 spots re-opened, now available for another team to register. If you, or anyone you know, is interested - act fast!
